David Thurston has a life-long passion for all plants since his early childhood, from home grown vegetable gardens, Australian native plants and especially cacti and succulents.
David is qualified with an associate diploma and a Landscape Design diploma. His industry experience encompasses commercial and residential landscape management, high rise rooftop gardens, retail plant nurseries, water feature design and maintenance, landscape irrigation services and construction.
In 2011 David launched Award Horticulture to provide greater creative control and depth of palette to ensure a higher quality finished product focused on sustainability.
